PLGrid Portal - what's new?
What do you have to do before logging in for the first time?
Reset the password
After January 22, 2024, before your first login to the Portal, you need to reset your current password. To do this, choose the option "Forgot password?" which will take you to the password recovery page.
We are enhancing the security level for your account, and the need to establish a new password is due to changes in password security methods.
Update profile
After resetting your password and logging into the new Portal, you also need to update your profile.
In the Basic Information tab, enter your phone number and citizenship.
In the Consents tab check the box confirming your acceptance of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Setting a new password for your account and accepting the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy is necessary to access to computing clusters.

PLGrid Portal - what's new?
We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new version of the PLGrid Portal. We have implemented a series of changes aimed at facilitating and improving the use of the Portal and computational resources.
New visual design
The Portal has gained a modern, unified look that is simpler and more transparent. This makes it easier for you to find the information and functions you need.
New user profile
In the new Portal, we will ask you to provide your citizenship and phone number (this information will be used solely for user verification in the future). The profile will expand to include the option to add additional information, such as academic degree or ORCID/ResearchID.
You will be able to define SSH keys in the profile, allowing you to log in to computational clusters. This is a more secure and convenient solution than traditional password login.
New affiliation model
We are introducing new types of affiliations, such as PhD affiliation or External collaborator affiliation. The existing affiliation of academic unit employee will be split into Academic unit employee and Scientific institution employee.
Currently active affiliations for academic unit employees will be shortened to a period of 2 years (maximum). Affiliations for subordinates will be migrated to the new system with a shortened end date, allowing all subordinates to renew their affiliations or apply for new ones at a convenient time.
PhD students will gain the opportunity to independently conduct research.
Updated research teams management
Research teams can only be created by academic and scientific institution unit employees and users who register in the new Portal with a PhD affiliation.
We have added a new role, Main Manager, which is automatically assigned to the founder of a new team during its creation. New functionalities for inviting users to teams have been introduced as well.
